March 7th - 2016 - ANNUAL POT LUCK SUPPER -
Salado Historical Society will host a pot luck dinner and meeting on March 7, 2016, at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. The program for the meeting will feature a presentation by Beverly Hadley, Executive Director of the Bell County Museum. Also, included in the program is the presentation of the 2016 Person of the Year.

May 2nd - 2016 - Board Meeting at 6:00 PM in Salado Public Library Meeting Room

June 6th - 2016 - Board Meeting at 6:00 PM at Salado Public Library Meeting Room

July 4th - 2016 - Salado Independence Day “pot-luck picnic” in the Salado High School auditorium.

August 1st - 2016 - Board Meeting at 6:00 PM in Salado Public Library Meeting Room

September 6th - 2016 - Tuesday (not Monday) Board Meeting at 6:00 PM in Salado Public Library Meeting Room

October 1st -2016 - “Our Salado Heritage” is a walking tour of Historic Salado Graveyard. Over 18 of Salado's early pioneers will come to life to tell you their stories. Admission $5 adults; $3 children 12 and under. The Cemetery Tour is presented by Salado Historical Society and Tablerock Festival of Salado.

October 3rd - 2016 - Board Meeting at 6:00 PM in Salado Public Library Meeting Room

November 7th - 2016 - FALL CHILI SUPPER and MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
The Salado Historical Society annual open meeting and chili supper is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. Monday, November Seventh at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall.


Dec 2, 3 & 4 - 2016 - SALADO HISTORICAL SOCIETY CHRISTMAS TOUR OF HOMES
The Salado Historical Society will present their annual Tour of Homes. (Friday 5 to 8 /Saturday 10 to 5 /Sunday 1 to 4)

You are invited to tour four beautiful homes, the historic Salado Methodist Church and two completely restored log cabins during the first weekend of the Salado Christmas Stroll. Touring the homes, cabins and historic church is a wonderful way to enjoy your visit to Salado and visit local residents as they prepare for the Christmas holidays. We hope you will have a memorable experience during your stay in Salado while taking the Historical Society's Tour of Homes. This Year's locations: Husungs- 609 Willow Creek; Coopers- 2101 Bluff Circle; Tysons- 615 DeGrummond; Newmans- 2221 Chisholm Trail; Boles-Aiken & Denman Log Cabins; Historic Methodist Church- 650 Royal.






Board meetings are the first Monday of each month in the Salado Civic Center Historical Room @ 6:00 PM.
